Why is there an age requirement?

The reason I put an age requirement on my site is because I use some vulgare language in my posts. I know most will say that is unprofessional, but this is who I am. This site is about who I am and what happens in my head. For me to talk about what I learn in regards to my mental health. This is my perception on how my brain processes things.
