November 2014 Glmaourdolleyes OTM…

I must say I love this months OTM! The products are beautiful as always. What is a OTM? For those who don’t know OTM stands for Of The Month. It’s a subscription from You can sign up to get a limited edition shadow for that month. You can only sign up on the 8th of the month. It’s not a recurring subscription. If you want to get it more than just one month you have to purchase a subscription for how many months you want. And if they’re available. There’s only a limited number of subscriptions so you kinda gotta stalk the site the day of to make sure you get one. They tend to sell out fast. This year they’re trying to make every month an extra month, but no promises. Which means you’ll get, not only the shadow but an extra item whether it be makeup based or fashion based. This month was an extra month (^_^). Oh and they include candy in all of them pretty much hehe. So here’s what I got for November!

This month everything came in a little orange box.

The shadow for this month is called More Pie, Please! It’s a bright red with a golden green sparkle and sheen. This is swatched over Glamourdolleyes Glitter Fix.

There was a lot of extra’s in this month!

The first one is a perfume oil from It’s called Gold Rush. It’s smells devine! It’s a fruity scent. Makes me think of pears and apples.

The next extra is a sample from Kiss my sass cosmetics. It’s a shadow from an upcoming collection they’re releasing that is a collaberation with Glamourdolleyes. The collection is called “Liars keep secrets” this is based off the show pretty little liers. I’ve personally never watch it but I hear it’s supposed to be good. Anyways, onto the shadow!

I got the shade If Lying Was A Crime…It’s a bronzed plum with purple and bronze shimmer. This is swatched over Glamourdolleyes Glitter Fix.

KMS If Lying Was a Crime

Then we got a sample from Glamourdolleyes “Liars keep secrets” collection and it’s a blush. This is called Hot for Teacher. It’s a light pink matte base with a subtle golden sparkle. I have to say I really like this blush. I did not swatch this over Glitter Fix sense it’s a blush but I did do a pretty heavy swatch.

The next Extra is a new item Glamourdolleyes is releasing in December this year and that’s a pressed shadow. If you’ve ordered from them then you’ll know their shadow’s have all be loose pigment. So I’m pretty excited to see a pressed shadow. This one was exclusive for this month’s OTM so yes this shadow will not be available for purchase next month sorry.

The shadow is called Food Coma. It’s a light medium brown with pink sheen and green sparkle. This is swatched over Glamourdolleyes Glitter Fix.

Next extra! Told ya there’s a lot in this months OTM. Everyone got 2 samples to the tin set’s that will be released on December 2. Oh and the “Liars Keep Secrets” is being released the same day as these ones. They have 4 tin sets being released, which are… Orange is the new…, Tattoo Parlor, Matte About you, and Grease. I a sample from Orange is the new… and Tattoo Parlor.

For Orange is the new… I got Mrs. Bennet. A matte taupe base with a pinky sheen and a subtle rosey gold shimmer. This is swatched over Glamourdolleyes Glitter Fix.

GDE Mrs. Bennett

For Tattoo Parlor I for Tattoo Flash… It’s a very vibrant red with an orange sheen overlay and a yellow golden sparkle. This is swatched over Glamourdolleyes Glitter Fix.

Then lastly! *drum roll*…

The candy lol

It’s Frooties in green apple hehe (^_^)

So that’s it for this month’s OTM. Next month is gonna be good I just know it. They usually do a few extra’s for Christmas time. Every December it’s like a grand finally OTM box. Well, to me it is, sense everyone’s subscription ends and it’s the end of the year. So yeah, can’t wait to see what we get next month!

My dark pinky tutorial…

I’m sorry this is late like my last one. My days are all messed up. *sigh* At least I’m posting it late instead of not at all. Right?

Anyways, I wanted to do a dark pinky look sense it is October. It’s breast cancer awareness month and I can’t help myself but make looks dark. I don’t like how bright looks look on me. Hopefully that made sense. So yeah, sense Halloween is also this month I used Glamourdolleyes previous Halloween shadows. So yeah, onto the picture tutorial…

I first started with Urban Decay primer potion then put Glamourdolleyes Candy Coma on my lid.

(BTW Cotton Candy is part of the permanent line so you can get this color still.)

GDE Cotton Candy with Glitter Fix

I used a shadow brush to pat this on so the sparkle wouldn’t go everywhere…

then I took the color Gruesome…

GDE Gruesome with Glitter Fix

I used this to blend it out with a fluffy blending brush.

As I said I can’t leave the look bright so I took Vampire Wedding.

GDE Vampire Wedding with Glitter Fix

And placed this in my outer V area blending it out a bit. I used a stiff small fluffy brush to do this. I didn’t apply too much pressure so I could let the brush do the work.

I didn’t like how the pink, Candy Coma, was looking so I dabbed on some Glitter Fix.

GDE Glitter Fix

Put this on my lid where the pink is, waited for it to get a bit tacky then I put more Candy Coma on top to give it more intensity. Using the same brush I first applied Candy Coma with.

After that I put some Wet N Wild Brulee on my browbone.

I used a blending brush to apply that so it would blend in with the red.

Though, I lost some of the intensity. So I grabbed the brush I applied Vampire Wedding with, not adding any product to it, I blended the red out again.

I for got to take a pic of this but I used Chella Ivory Lace Highlight on the inner corner

chella highlight

Over that I placed Ruby June to brighten it up. I used a small detail brush to apply this shadow.

Then I used my Jessie’s Girl Liquid liner to line my lash line.

After doing both of those it looks like this…

After that I took a pencil brush and put Vampire Wedding along my lower lash line.

I forgot to take a pic of the pencil but you can use whatever black kohl pencil you have to line your waterline. I used Wet N Wild Fergie on Edge Long Wearing Eye Pencil in Midnight Girl.

And of course I used my favorite mascara Too Faced Better Than Sex.

And I only did one coat of that.

That’s the eye look. I didn’t do any foundation or anything. I just wanted to do an eye look. I’m not going anywhere or anything so I didn’t feel like getting dolled up lol.

So yeah, the shadows I used are no longer available. But you can use what ever colors you like. If you want to stick strictly with pinks you can. Just use different shades of pink for get this look.

Oh and Glitter Fix will be available for purchase on the 15th of this month.

If you liked this look let me know. I have a couple idea’s for a couple other looks but let my know if you want me do to a certain look and I’ll try to do it for ya. (^_^)

First Picture Makeup Tutorial…

Okay so this is my first picture tutorial for a makeup look. I hope it’s okay. Let me know how you like it.

So first I’ll start with my eyes…

I started by priming with Urban Decay Primer Potion. Then on top of that I used Maybellene Color Tattoo in Cool Crush.

I blended out the Cool Crush to be a sheer wash of color. I was using it as a base for the shadow I put on top. Sorry the image is a bit blurry. The rest of the pics aren’t blurry like this one.

So over that I used Glamourdolleyes September OTM in the shade Never Be Royals. (If you wish to know what the OTM is I have it in my last post.) Anywho, this color is a nice soft blue with a pink duo-chrome to it. Though, it’s hard to see the duo-chrome effect in the picture.

If you don’t have this color, any light blue will work with this look.

GDE OTM Never be Royals Sept 2014

I just used a fluffy blending brush and swepted the color over where I placed the Color Tattoo.

This is Glamourdolleyes Gingerbread Girl. It was a limited edition of the Christmas collection a couple years back. But any medium brown will work for this look.

I picked up the color using a blending brush that wasn’t really fluffy but more of a precise blending brush if that makes sense. I placed it in the crease and did a concentrated line of it. Then went back in with the brush I used with Never Be Royals, I didn’t add any color to it, and blended it out. I went back and forth doing that till I got it how I wanted it.

I use this for my brow bone all the time. I din’t have a swatch of it cause it’s the same color as my skin. So it really wouldn’t pick up on my camera. You could also just use your face powder to do this too. I just like using this.

So yeah, it’s not too obvious that I used it. But it did blend out the line a little bit.

After I did that I used a custom glitter I got from Glamourdolleyes called Ghost. I named it that cause I was watching ghost busters when I placed the order and got another custom glitter called Slimer. I plan on using that for a look too hehe but that’s for a later post. Anyways, this color was close to the shadow I got and I wanted to use it.

GDE Glitter Ghost

I used Glitter Fix with it and this is a baby sample I got with my Custom glitters. It’s so freaking cute!

So I patted the Glitter Fix on and then took a stiff brush to pick up the glitter with and held a napkin under my eye to catch the fallout of the glitter. What glitter that did get on my face I used some tape to take it off. Best way to get glitter off the face.

This is one of my favorite felt tip liners It’s Jesse’s Girl Waterproof Liquid Liner. It’s easier for me, sense I wear glasses, to use pen liners than to use gel.

jg liner

So yeah, I did a baby wing at the end and took it underneath to my lower lash line. Only going about half way on the lower lash line.

Then I went back in with Gingerbread Girl(that I used in the crease) and lined the rest of the lower lash line with a pencil brush. Though, looking at this picture you can’t really tell it’s there lol. Oh and I blended it out with a smudge brush onto the liquid liner. Making sure not to blend out to low under the bottom lashes.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. This is my favorite mascara right now. I’m pretty sure I’m gonna buy the full size when this sample size runs out. Unless I find something else that I like better hehe.

I only do one coat of this mascara. I only do more when I’m trying to get a doll like look to my lashes. They’re actually pretty long, any longer and I get mascara all over my glasses. You can’t see in this picture but my lashes go up to my brows, if I curled them you could see better but I don’t usually curl them.

So yeah, that’s the finnished eye look. What I used on the rest of my face…

This is a new blush from Glamourdolleyes called Nouveau Riche. It’s part of the Runway Collection. That is a permanent collection. The swatch is concentrated in one spot I’ve blended it out on my cheeks so it’s not too strong.

This is a Glamourdolleyes Shadow in Exposed. Yes, I use a gray shadow to contour my face. Bronzers have a tendency to look really muddy on my skin or really orange. Sense I’m so fair.

GDE Exposed

Speaking of how fair skinned I am, I used Manic Panics Vampires Veil in Moonlight. This is the lightest shade aside from white. So yeah, I’m naturally pretty pale and I love it. My husband makes fun of me and says I need to tan. I told him I’ll just end up looking like a oompa-loompa if I did lol. I’ll stick with my vanilla tan (^_^).

On the lips I used Revlons Lip Butter in Red Velvet. I really like this color and leaves a nice stain on my lips after it wears off.

Revlon Red Velvet Lipbutter

So that’s all I used to do this look.

If you wish to purchase from one of the companies used you can go to these links: I love their products and have quite a bit of them. I will try to do looks outside of using Glamourdolleyes but no promises sense I like their products more then anyone’s so yeah. I just got this foundation and I’m loving it! This liner can also be found at Rite Aid.

The primer potion and mascara can be purchased at or

The lip butter can be found at any drugstore that sells Revlon or Ulta.

If you have any suggestions on looks, then let me know in the comments. I’ll do my best to do them. I hope you enjoyed this post. If you did please give it a like(^_^)
