Dec 2014 Glossybox

For those who don’t know Glossybox is a monthly subscription for high end beauty Products. It’s 21.00 a month. And you get 5-6 products in each box. These are products that are found around the world. Here’s what I got in my December box…

Dec 2014 Glossybox Card

This is my last Glossybox. I will not be getting this box anymore. Why, you ask? Well, because I haven’t been happy with my last few boxes, they never come in the month they’re inteded for, I’m tired of getting nothing but lotions and potions and I needed money to play WoW so I picked the box I was least happy with and cancled. This is a beauty box yes but I’d like more then one makeup product. We’re lucky if we get a makeup product and a polish. I’ve been getting this box sense they first started it in the USA. I was really happy with it at first. Now… not so much… So I cancled… This box lost to an online game. That’s how much interest I have in it now… Anyways, I’ll show you what I got in this box. So here it is…

Ciate Mini Paint Pot in All Aglow Full size is $10.00 for .17oz

Ciate All Aglow
Toni&guy Leave in Conditioner Full size is $16.99 for 3.3Fl Oz… gave this to my mom…

Toniandguy prep conditioner
I think this is the only item I like out of this box…Bellapierre Cosmetics Mineral Lipstick in Burlesque Full size is $19.99 in .12oz

Bellapierre Cosmetics Lipstick Burlesque
Nuxe Masque Creme Fraiche De Beaute full size is $32 for 1.7 oz

Nuxe Paris
Rituals Cosmetics Miracle Scrub in Ginsing & Ginkgo Biloba full size is $17 for 2.5Fl oz

Rituals... hand scrub

So that’s it. No more Glossybox…

September 2014 Glossybox…

For those who don’t know Glossybox is a monthly subscription for high end  beauty Products. It’s 21.00 a month. And you get 5-6 products in each box. These are products that are found around the world. I’ll show you what I got in my September box and if you wish to sign up too I’ll post a link at the end.

The digital director for Harper’s BAZAAR, Joyann King, worked with Glossybox for this month’s box. This box is based off of some of her favorite products…

Sept 2014 Glossybox

The swatches have no base or primer under them. I do that to give ya an idea on how pigmented a product is with out it. I know when I see swatches without primer it gives me an idea on how much I’ll have to work with it to give me the look I’m trying to achieve.

Here’s what I got in this month’s box…

Sept 2014 Glossybox Card

First we got an Essie polish in the shade Madison Ave-Hue. Okay, anyone who knows me knows I don’t like wearing pink. Soooooo…… I’ll probably set this aside for a friend or when my nieces come over. Cause I won’t use it at all… This retails for $8.50.

Essie Madison Ave-hue

This next product is another I don’t like. I tried it out couple times, after getting it in my Ipsy bag, but I don’t like the way it makes my lashes look. I don’t like the way it wears, applies and yeah, I just don’t like it at all. This is not my go to product. The product is…

It’s Benifit They’re Real Mascara. So yeah, this is going into my giveaway pile for friends… This retails for $23.00 full size.

Benifit They're Real

Well, I guess I don’t have much love for this box cause the next product I’m giving away too. That’s cause I can’t stand the smell of it. Whenever I get something from this brand I always give it away cause I really don’t like the scent of it.

It’s Bvlgari Eau Parfumee au the Blanc Conditioner… So yeah, this retails for $45.00 full size. So yeah I wouldn’t buy this product anyways being that high priced. I can get something that smells good for a lot cheaper…

Bvlgari Conditioner

This next brand is alright, I haven’t tried much from them. So I’m eager to try this product out.

Vichy Liftactiv Night Cream. This is supposed to help reduce fine lines and improve skin tone. We’ll see how it goes. Though, I probably won’t purchase full size cause I don’t want to spend that much for a night cream. It’s $50.00 full size…

Vichy Leftactiv Night

I think this next product is the only one I’m somewhat happy with. Though, I wouldn’t have chosen this shade, cause orange tones do not look good on me. But I’ll try to darken it up with a lip liner or something.

OCC Metallic Lip Tar in the shade Authentic. This color is very orange based. It’s pretty but I’ve next looked good in this color. I’ll give it a try and see how it looks but I’m pretty sure I won’t pick it up very often… this retails for $18.00 full size…

OCC Lip Tar Authentic

So that’s it for this month’s box. Granted I wasn’t too happy with a lot of the products, I’ll see what they send out next month. I know we’re getting a nail polish I just hope it’s not pink again. So yeah, I’ll admit I haven’t been too happy with the products I’ve been getting from this box. I’m thinking if I keep getting boxes I’m not happy with I’m just gonna cancel. I’ll wait till after the end of the year to decide. So they have 3 boxes to try and keep me from canceling. We’ll see what happens…

August 2014 Glossybox…

For those who don’t know Glossybox is a monthly subscription for high end  beauty Products. It’s 21.00 a month. And you get 5-6 products in each box. These are products that are found around the world. I’ll show you what I got in my August box and if you wish to sign up too I’ll post a link at the end.

This months box celebrated their 3 year anniversary. So that’s how long they’ve been around and I’ve been signed up with them sense they started. It has been interesting getting the boxes over the years. I’ve found products that I never heard of now love and got to try products that I would not have had the money to try otherwise. They’ve also put in brands that I already love and can’t live without. There have been boxes I wasn’t happy with as with all subscription boxes there’s always gonna be one month that you’re not happy with.

Anyways I’ll stop rambling and get onto my August box…

The swatches have no base or primer under them. I do that to give ya an idea on how pigmented a product is with out it. I know when I see swatches without primer it gives me an idea on how much I’ll have to work with it to give me the look I’m trying to achieve.

Here’s the box…

This is the card that came in the box. It gives the descriptions of the products and how much each product costs full size.

dscn5048

I like Eyeco products. I’ve gotten an eyeliner from them before and I believe it was from this box too haha. But it was a purple one last time. This one is a black one. These are the kind of liners I prefer. This retails for $16.00

dscn5062

This is a cream highlighter made by Kryolan. It’s a special edition specifically made for Glossybox. Kryolan has added items that were made just for Glossybox before. This is called Cashmere. This product is very sheer and not full of glitter. It gives a nice glow, as you can see from the swatches it’s not over powering or highly pigmented. It’s a nice product that I will get use out of. I like highlighters that aren’t in your face full of sparkle. Full sizes of this product costs $18.95.

Fotor0903192535

This is from Lamoon Beauty, I’m not sure if I’ve ever gotten something from them or not. Though, I do hope I get more from them I like this polish. This is called Trillion Dollar Red. Then again I love reds hehe. I can’t wait to wear this. Full size of this costs $5.95.

Fotor0903192438

This is Eslor Firming Collagen Day Cream. I don’t usually use a day or night cream. I’m more of a simple lotion kind of girl. I’ll give this a try. See how I like it, and hopefully it doesn’t make me break out or itch like mad like some other products have. This costs $85.00 full size.

dscn5051

This is Uberliss hydrating shampoo & conditioner. Okay I’m not fond of this brand at all. I’ve used it and it makes my head itch like crazy. I gave this to my mom. She tried it and said it was okay. Wasn’t as hydrating as her Victoria Secret shampoo and conditioner. This retails for $23.90 for shampoo and $25.90 for the conditioner.

dscn5050

So this is a win lose box. It wasn’t a jump for joy box but it wasn’t bad either. So I guess we’ll see what we get next/this month… In the box for September… I did get a sneak peek for September and we’re supposed to get They’re real mascara. Not happy about that, I already know I don’t like it. October we’re supposed to get a polish from Nails Inc. I don’t mind that, I like getting polish. Then November we’re supposed to get Juice beauty’s Green apple Age Defy Moisturizer. I like this product so I’m happy about this one… Well that’s it for this post…

July 2014 Glossybox

Oh and I did get this box Friday, I’ve just slacked on posting cause of the heat in my house. I’m not kidding it’s hotter in my house then it is outside. So I try no to turn on my comp to much with the heat like this. So yeah, I’m behind on posts for that reason.

For those who don’t know Glossybox is a monthly Subscription for high end  beauty Products. It’s 21.00 a month. And you get 5-6 products in each box. These are products that are found around the world. I’ll show you what I got in my July box and if you wish to sign up too I’ll post a link at the end.

On to the box!

July 2014 Glossybox

Mitchell and Peach Body Cream. This has an interesting smell to it. I don’t know how to describe it besides being an earthy scent. Hope that makes sense. This costs $61.00 for 6.08oz, that’s full size.

dscn4701

GlamGlow Youthmud Tinglexfoliate Treatment. This is a face mask that’s suppose to exfoliate, tighten pores, smooth texture, reduce fin lines, and absorb impurities. I dunno if it does that, but it does leave your skin feeling soft. Full size of this costs $69.00 for 1.7oz.

dscn4703

Malin+Goetz Mojito lip blam. Okay, I’ve gotten this product before and I don’t like it. I don’t like smelling alcohol and this smells like a mojito. This costs $12.00 for full size .35oz.

dscn4706

Skin Inc. Custom-Blended Brightening Serum. Still testing, no opinions about this as of yet. Though, to give you an idea about it, this is supposed to help improve skin tone and reduce the appearance of dark circles. Along with dullness and dryness. Full size costs $45.00 for .34oz

dscn4709

Philip B PH Restorative Detangling Toning Mist. I’m a little nervious to try this out cause Phillip B products always make my head itch. I’ll give it a try but I might have to just back into the shower to wash it out if it makes my head itch. I dunno what they put in these products that my scalp doesn’t like but yeah… Full size costs $24.00 for 4.23oz

dscn4711

So that’s what I got in my July Glossybox.

Glossybox June 2014…

0

For those who don’t know Glossybox is a monthly Subscription for highend beauty Products. It’s 21.00 a month, free shipping. You get 5-6 products in each box. I really enjoy getting these boxes. Granted most of the products are really expensive if you buy the full size. But sometimes you get a product in the box that works so good you just don’t care. I’ve gotten a couple items like that. But they were never more then $30 full sized lol. so yeah, on to Junes Glossybox…

Oh and if you like this box I’ll put a link at the end of the post to where you can sign up too. (^_^)

dscn4414

This box is called the Stars and Stripes box. It’s based around beauty products from the US. The box it’s self was designed after the US flag. So I thought that was a cute touch. Now here’s what’s inside the box…

dscn4417

StrangeBeautiful Colorbloc is 2 nail polishes that were designed exclusively for Glossybox. These are sample sized. The Red is on the orange side of things, it’s not a true red. The blue is more purplish-blue when I swatched it. Though, on camera it looks dark blue. So yeah, the Full size of these cost $18.00.

Fotor0626205849

Rusk Tecture Dry Finishing Spray, not sure about this. So, I’ll try it out and see how it works. And if it makes my head itch really bad. Some products just don’t like my scalp, they make me itch really bad. So yeah, I’ll see how this one goes. If I can’t use it I can always give it to a friend or family member who will. This costs $18.00 full size.

dscn4424

Ayres Patagonia Body Butter. I like body butters so I’ll see how I like this. (^_^) This costs $28.00 full size.

dscn4423

Camille Beckman Platinume Gold Imperial Repair Hand Therapy. That’s a mouth full to say. This is supposed to be really hydrating to the skin. Not sure about the smell. I’m not sure how to to describe it but the smell isn’t that great. So yeah….. I’ll try it though, this costs $10.00 full size.

dscn4428

Sumita Beauty Champagne Eye Shadow Pencil. I’ve gotten products from this company before. I believe I just got eyebrow pencils and eyeliners. Those were okay, not jump for joy amazing but okay. This is nice, I swatched it and that the swatch wouldn’t come off till I used makeup remover. Based off of that I’m excited to try it out on my eyelid to see how it holds up.

dscn4434

So this is what I got in my June Glossybox. Overall this wasn’t a jump for joy kind of box, but it was nice. I’m not disappointed or anything. I’ll definitely try the stuff out. But some I’m just not that crazy about.  Guess I’ll wait to see what I get next month.

Glossybox May 2014…

dscn4250

OMG I actually got my Glossybox in the month it was intended for lol. Well, tomorrow is June. So yeah… I actually got it in May so I’ll post it on here… Anyways, for those who don’t know Glossybox is a monthly subscription box with samples from high end brands. This box costs $21.00 a month. You get 5-6 products in each box.

The reason why I started this post out the way I did is because I rarely get my box in the month that it’s intended for. I used to but not anymore. I have no idea what changed but that’s how it is for me now. I find it annoying. I’ve been debating on not posting anything about this box on my blog any more sense that’s how it is. I dunno yet though, if you a.k.a. who ever reads this, wants me to keep posting about it I will. I enjoy getting these boxes. Granted most of the stuff in the box I could only afford in my dreams, but yeah, I do enjoy getting them and feeling luxurious when I try out the products. So yeah, enough of me rambling. Here’s the box…

dscn4251

Napoleon Perdis Auto Pilot Pre-Foundation Skin PRimer…

dscn4253
Revive Eye Renewal Serum Firming Booster

dscn4259
Philip B Light-Weight Deep Conditioning Creme Rinse

dscn4256
Atelier Cologne Rose Anonyme Cologne Absolue. This frangrance is not for me. It’s not something I reach for. So, I’m giving this to my mom sense she likes it.

DSCN4264

DSCN4266
Lancer Eye Contour Lifting Cream

Fotor0530140737
Lancome Absolute L-extrait Regenerating Ultimate Elixir… The full size of this is $360.00… I would not buy this product even if I had the money. I just can’t justify spending that much money on 1.7 oz of product. So yea, it’ll be nice to try but never buying it…

Fotor0530140816

So yeah, that’s this months box. Let me know what you think…

I might, if I actually get the box in this month… we’ll see… anyways, here’s what I got for April…
