I’ve been hearing a lot about Beauty Bar Baby. So I decided to try them out. I grabbed a couple items to test out. This is what I got and I’m posting a look I did with these three items.
If you wish to try them out too you can find them here https://www.etsy.com/shop/BeautyBarBaby?ref=l2-shopheader-name
The swatches have no base or primer under them. I do that to give ya an idea on how pigmented a product is with out it. I know when I see swatches without primer it gives me an idea on how much I’ll have to work with it to give me the look I’m trying to achieve.
This is called Devils Breath it’s a nice red with gold shimmer through it. It is very pigmented and blended out smoothly. I really like this color.
I wanted a color I could use in my crease or as a liner if I wanted. So I picked out a nice matte brown called Dark Chocolate. This seemed a little patchy at first but blended out nicely with a brush. It’s very pigmented and easy to work with. I know some dark mattes can be difficult to blend out.
This is their waterproof gel liner in black. Okay the reason it took my so long to do this post is cause I’ve been trying to out and I wanted to see if I could get it to work on my waterline. I tried setting, putting a really small amount and setting it and my eyes just didn’t like it on the water line. It went everywhere in the corners of my eyes after an hour of wearing it. Maybe my eyes water just too much for this product. It’s nice and creamy, works great for winged liner. But as far as my waterline goes, it just didn’t work for me. I will continue to use it for winged liner or as a base for shadow.
This is a look I created with all the products. I took the pics right after I finished the look. It wasn’t till later that I wanted to say “for the Horde!” These are great colors for the horde sense they’re crest is more red, black, & brown and the Alliance is Gold, Silver, & Blue.
Oh, they also sent candy. They didn’t last long after I opened the package hehe.
