Coastal Scents Mystery Box!

I went on the coastal scents site and noticed their mystery box was in stalk, finally. I’ve been wanting to order this for a long time. It’s just rarly in stalk. It’s a box with $50 worth of products for $20. I’m really happy with it. I love everything I got in the box. I’ll admit I was tempted to get another while it was in stalk to see if I got the same stuff or different stuff. (^_^) Oh and all the products are full size!

Ipsy April 2014

For those who don’t know, Ipsy is a monthly subscription service for beauty products. It costs $10.00 a month. And you get 4 – 5 products. The products are decent size too. Not those samples that give you 1 use or if your lucky 2 or 3 lol. They always come in a little bag that’s themed for the month. I’ve very happy with this subscription. This month’s bag is dark blue with a vynle record player on the front of it. Cute bag.

In it I got…

Benefit lollitint. This is a stain much like Benetint. Though I like the color of this better then the benetint. It’s the purple violet. This can be used on the lips or cheecks.

Cailyn Tinted Lip Balm in the shade Acid Pink. It comes with a brush in the cap which is pretty nifty. I like that I wont have to keep a lip brush in my bag with something like that. Okay, the bottle says lip balm but it stains lol. The swatch stained my hand with I was taking picks. I left it on for 10 mins at most and now I’m having a hard time getting it off. Which I don’t mind. I prefer when lip products have staining properties to them. (^_^). I’ll be interested to see how this wears throughout a day.

Urban Decay 24/7 Velvet Glide-On Eye Pencil Travel Size in the shade Black Velvet. This is a lot like the other urban decay liners. Not as black at perversion.

City Color White Gold Shadow & Highlight Mousse. Be careful with this, it’s a very thick mousse texter. I went to swatch it and got a lot more on my finger then I wanted. And I barely rubbed my finger into the product.

I did get KISS Looks So Natural Lashes in Shy. But I didn’t want lashes I wanted an eye shadow. My mom ended up getting the shadow that I wanted and she wanted the lashes so we traded. So with that said I now have Elizabeth Mott pop! goes the shadow in the shade Champagne. (^_^) This color is so pretty! I love these kinds of colors for the inner corner of the eye.

For those who don’t know Starlooks is a monthly subscription beauty box. It costs $15.00 pluse shipping. Shipping price depends on where you live. Faux Lashes Boudoir Mascara by Nyx Cosmetics. I’ve used this before and love it. This is my second tube of this.

Metal Glam Eyeshadow by Essence Chocolate Jewelery 05, Metal Glam Eyeshadow by Essence Coffee To Glow 02, Eyeshadow by Essence My Baby Blue! 72, & Nude Matte Eyeshadow by Nyx Cosmetics Leather And Lace. I always swatch things without a base to get an idea of how pigmented the product is. Well, these weren’t that pigmented. As you can see with the swatches below the shadows.

Infinite Shadow Stick by Nyx Cosmetics Crystal & Infinite Shadow Stick by NYX Cosmetics Black. These were a pain to get off my hand after they set. I can’t wait to use them!

Butter Gloss by Nyx Cosmetics Devils Food Cake. I think I’m in love with this. Perfect to go over red lip stick or just on it own.

Soft Matte Lip Cream by Nyx Cosmetics Transylvania. I wish they had a black one of these. This is their darkest color for the matte lip creams. I really like this one. Just wish they had a black one. (^_^)

Glamourdolleyes April 2014 OTM…

For those who don’t know OTM stands for Of The Month. It’s a subscription from http://www.glamourdolleyes.com/. You can sign up to get a limited edition shadow for that month. You can only sign up on the 8th of the month. It’s not a recurring subscription. If you want to get it more than just one month you have to purchase a subscription for how many months you want. And if they’re available. There’s only a limited number of subscriptions so you kinda gotta stalk the site the day of to make sure you get one. They tend to sell out fast. This year they’re trying to make every month an extra month, but no promises. Which means you’ll get, not only the shadow but an axtra item wheather it be makeup based or fashion based. Oh and they include candy in all of them pretty much hehe.

Got the color Facetious, it’s a very pretty purple with blue and pink sparkle. There’s no primer or Foil Me under these swatches.

This is an extra month as well, this month we got a product that’s going to be released May 12. They’re glitter tubes. I got the shade My dismay. It’s a gorgous purple. I can’t wait for them to be released after seeing this one. The glitter is very finly milled. It says on the tube that the size of the glitter is .004. This is swatched over Foil Me.

We also got a sample of foil me. Which is an adhesive for glitter and shadows. I would’ve swatched this but it’s clear and there really wouldn’t be any point sense nothing would show up in pictures. When used with a shadow it gives it a pretty foil look or with some shadows a metallic look. I really love this stuff hehe.

Oh and as always I got candy, this month I got Grapeheads (^_^).

All in all this was an awesome OTM I love purples. I really loved the glitter and I can’t wait to see what comes next month (^_^).

Julep April 2014…

Got my April Julep box. For those who don’t know Julep is a beauty subscription box. They say the first box is free but ya just gotta pay for shipping which is only $3.00. So that’s not that bad. But if you continue to get the box I spend $21.89 per box, that’s after shipping and what not. Which is not that bad, considering these polishes alone cost up to $14.99, some are cheaper, just depends on what you get. Now with each box you can choose a different style. Each style has different colors. I got the Bombshell box. You also have the option to add stuff to your box for a cheaper price then on there store. Including polishes for $4.99. No. 21 I already had this color from a Glossybox last year. Still have it and love it.
